These pistols are a prize for the WWII Luger collector. To find one of these pistols in fine matching original condition is difficult, but to find a consecutive pair with both being in 97% original condition is nearly impossible. Jan Still in THIRD REICH LUGERS estimates that only 600 such S/42 1939 Lugers were made in the m and n serial block. Magazines are not matching but are proper and original WWII. The matching numbered grips are sharp with no chips or cracks. The bores in both pistols are likewise excellent. At least 97% of the original blue remains on both pistols with some light high edge wear from being holstered. Conditions are all original and matching including the grips.
